Shout out to… Those who seek the true message of the Lord’s birth! As well as Those who received the true message of the Lord’s birth this year!
Lately I’m thinking… How the details of the birth of Jesus Christ send us a profound message! also, Did we get more of what we wanted or more of what he wanted?
Currently reading… Various verses from Matthew: chapters 1 & 2
This is really interesting… What does the Lord really want us to remember concerning his birth?
The soapbox: Clear your mind for a fast track of the fast facts surrounding the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus! Matthew 1:17 confirms the number of spiritual perfection, 7, in the man (the number of man being 6), Jesus Christ, in forty two generations! Thats from Abraham to Jesus, 7x 6=42! He was conceived of the Holy Ghost – Matthew 1:18-20, or was that the Father – St. John 5:30 & 36? I know! Just one God in different manifestations – 1 Timothy 3:16! He was born a sinless man child! In a feeding trough (you know, the manger!) no less! Because there was no room for him where men dwelt in comfort! Some things just don’t change! That swaddling cloth he was wrapped in? Stay tuned! And you’ll learn what that is about! As I was saying, that swaddling cloth he was wrapped in? That garment was a legal requirement to be worn by every man and woman who was to make a journey longer than a day’s time frame! This was a law to provide for an untimely death during the event of the journey. The swaddling cloth was to be as wide as the distance of the wrist to the edge of the elbow (Approximately 18″), and to be 8 to 10 feet long. Just enough material to sufficiently wrap a body for burial or transport to a burial destination. It was a sign of His purpose for being born! He was born to die for the sins of you and I! He commanded us to partake of the Lord’s supper to remember his death, as his life was given a ransom for many! So quit being shy, and leave me your comments! Pastor Greg

Shout out to… The “wise men” who know what to do!
Lately I’m thinking… Who will properly represent the Creator? Those three wise men knew what to bring to the Lord, are you wise enough to know what to bring to the Lord?
Currently reading… Matthew 2:1-12
This is really interesting… Where did the wise men’s wisdom lie?
The soapbox: The wise men were folks who knew somethin’ about somethin’! They knew that the world as they had known it was about to change forever! They knew that what they knew not everyone would know! They knew that what they must give had to be beyond the ordinary! The gifts they brought to offer were at a personal expense! Their wisdom is found in what they know about who they went to see and the price they were willing to pay to give honor and glory to the one who was born to die for their sins and ours! They didn’t take their journey to receive, but to give! What should YOU bring to God this year? Don’t stand with outstretched arms empty to receive, but move with outstretched arms with something to give! Be a wise man!
