Hebrews 13:8 reads: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
Thank you Jesus for being the same yesterday, today and forever! His love, knowledge, grace, mercy and longsuffering towards us never changes! In circumstance, environment, emotional scenario and financial pressures to say the least! we change! Through out our lives many things are prone to change. Even we are “wired” for change! It is a commonly known medical fact that our metabolisms and tastes change every seven years. Think about it, isn’t it true that some of the things you hated when you were little you are OK with now? Conversely, some of the things you liked when you were little, you just don’t care for now? These are indisputable signs God has given us that we will grow through changes in our lives! God, in all His infinite knowledge, knows that we need to be able to “change” as we develop our “limited” knowledge of who he is and how great his presence and power really is in our lives! As we recognize the deeper truths of God and how we must let them become part of who we are, we will find ourselves growing through more changes that must be for God’s perfect will to be more evident in our lives! The Apostle John said it accurately in St. John 3:30 when he spoke ” He must increase, but I must decrease!” in response to his disciples questioning him about following Jesus instead if him. What John spoke here is the simple truth that when we recognize, have remorse for and reject (that is to say repent) of sinful character (which is iniquity) then we are performing the process he just spoke of! Even John knew that we must change to enjoy a fuller experience of our God who doesn’t change!
We are the ones who must learn how to remove the conditions of our obedience to Him! We are the ones who must be able to recognize, show remorse and reject (which is repentance) the sin that so easily separates us from our Lord whom we say we love! We are the ones who must learn how to bring every thought into the captivity and subjection of the Lord Jesus Christ! He has done what he has done for us, and promised what he has to us, and given what he has gave to us “without repentance”! We must learn how to maneuver through life to secure and enjoy the fullness of what God has done for us! Accept the change that must come to pass as God reveals his will to us!

Shout out to… The “wise men” who know what to do!
Lately I’m thinking… Who will properly represent the Creator? Those three wise men knew what to bring to the Lord, are you wise enough to know what to bring to the Lord?
Currently reading… Matthew 2:1-12
This is really interesting… Where did the wise men’s wisdom lie?
The soapbox: The wise men were folks who knew somethin’ about somethin’! They knew that the world as they had known it was about to change forever! They knew that what they knew not everyone would know! They knew that what they must give had to be beyond the ordinary! The gifts they brought to offer were at a personal expense! Their wisdom is found in what they know about who they went to see and the price they were willing to pay to give honor and glory to the one who was born to die for their sins and ours! They didn’t take their journey to receive, but to give! What should YOU bring to God this year? Don’t stand with outstretched arms empty to receive, but move with outstretched arms with something to give! Be a wise man!

I found this in heart of my baby girl Desiree Garcia!…..PRICELESS!!!
another part of Acts 3:6 says “… But such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up!”
“Current status… Working…on everything!
Currently watching… My life change before my eyes!
Lately I’m thinking… Jesus is my all!
Shout out to… The Family I appreciate every one of you and I will show you in a special way.
The soapbox: Exodus 20:12 I know this is a very simple verse that we all learned in Sunday school, but it is so important. I know that if I didn’t have both of my parents working together to raise me, I wouldn’t be who I am today. Every aspect of my parent’s lives have taught me something, and I go to them first in the moments when I need some Godly council and am just not hearing what God is telling me. Being a parent only makes you appreciate your parents even more! Parent hood never stops, once it’s started. I see my parents functioning in the many areas of their parenthood, as mother and father to their immediate children, as Nonnie and Poppie to their grandchildren, and as the parental figures of the church as Pastor and Wife. It’s amazing, I do honor my parents, and I hope that my achievements and the way I raise my children, the way I serve God, the way I conduct myself and who I am does honor them also. I Hope one day my children will feel the same.”
Parents, teach your babies how to love God with all their mind, soul and hearts! Pastor Greg
